Rising costs force IndiGo to end leased wide-body operations

IndiGo will end its damp lease agreement with Norse Atlantic Airways for six Boeing 787-9 aircraft and discontinue wide-body operations from October 25. The airline said rising costs, airspace restrictions, higher fuel prices, and geopolitical uncertainty have made it unviable. Mumbai-Amsterdam flights will shift to Airbus A321XLR, while Heathrow services will be suspended until A350 deliveries.
