Rail Vikas Nigam emerged as the lowest bidder for a domestic contract with Western Railway (Ahmedabad Division), valued at ₹40.41 crore. The service contract is for 24 months to supply round-the-clock manpower for the upkeep of S&T gears. Earlier, RVNL was also the L1 bidder for a Southern Railway project worth ₹145.34 crore with a completion timeline of 540 days.
