Supreme Court granted Amazon Technologies, a subsidiary of e-commerce giant Amazon, an unconditional stay in a trademark infringement case. The dispute was with Lifestyle Equities over the alleged infringement of its Beverly Hills Polo Club brand. SC found flaws in earlier ruling that passed ₹336-crore award to Lifestyle Equities over the infringement without valid service of summons on Amazon.
