Chennai-based engineering, procurement and construction firm SEPC said its board of directors approved acquisition of Abu Dhabi-based Avenir International Engineers and Consultants LLC. The deal will be executed through a share swap, with the total consideration for the 90% stake valued at ₹1,530 crore. Approvals from lenders and shareholders on proposed acquisition are expected within six months.
