SpaceX is in talks with the US Department of Defence to provide access to billions of dollars worth of data centre capacity for running AI models, the Wall Street Journal reported. The deal could expand SpaceX's role as a Pentagon technology partner beyond launches and satellite services. It is exploring competition with AI cloud providers by offering cheaper computing capacity.
