Startup Eon Systems has demonstrated a virtual fruit fly whose movements are driven by an AI-powered digital model of its brain. In a video, the fly is seen cleaning its antennae and feeding on simulated banana slices. "What you are seeing is not an animation...It is a copy of a biological brain...making a body move," Eon Co-founder Alex Wissner-Gross said.
