Tata Motors has appointed Shailesh Chandra as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer from October 1, 2025, for three years. He currently leads the company’s passenger and electric vehicle divisions and will continue his EV role. The change comes as Tata reworks its structure and addresses challenges at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
