Tata Steel is likely to delay its Pound 1.25 billion low-carbon steel project in United Kingdom by six to eight months due to challenges in securing adequate electricity supply for the facility. The project, considered UK's largest low-carbon electric arc furnace (EAF) initiative, is a key component of Tata Steel’s decarbonisation strategy and the transformation of its Port Talbot operations.
