Lilian Weng, the co-Founder of AI startup Thinking Machines rejoined OpenAI, after leaving the former due to health reasons. Weng previously served as OpenAI's Vice President of research and safety, and will now lead a top-level team focused on accelerating internal research, a spokesperson said. This comes as several co-Founders have left Thinking Machines and only two of six remain.
