Six people, including an ex-employee who's the alleged mastermind, were arrested after a UAE-based businessman was kidnapped during a visit to Kerala, as per police. Police rescued VP Shameer on Thursday. The ex-employee had worked with Shameer on 50 ventures and was reportedly fired after internal disputes. The accused also demanded over 1 crore rupees ransom from Shameer's business partner.
