Unacademy will exit company-operated offline centres, Moneycontrol reported citing email from Co-founder Gaurav Munjal to staff. These centres will be converted into franchise partnerships, a model where local operators run day-to-day centre operations, while Unacademy provides academics, technology, curriculum and brand reach. The move comes weeks after acquisition talks with upGrad collapsed.
