US strategic oil reserves fall to lowest level since 1983

As US and Iran move towards ending their conflict, US oil stockpile has fallen to its lowest level since 1983. US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) held just 340.3 million barrels of crude oil as of Monday, according to Department of Energy. The SPR is down 75 million barrels, or 18%, since the war with Iran started, a CNN report said.
