Warner Bros Discovery sued Amazon, accusing it of a "lawless employee shopping spree" for hiring HBO Max marketing executive Pia Barlow before her contract expired. Amazon is poaching our employees "rather than build its entertainment-production workforce from the ground up", the lawsuit read. Barlow reportedly accepted a higher-paying offer, along with legal support, before joining Amazon.
