Troubled edtech giant BYJU'S flagship learning app has been removed from Google Play Store. Users who already had the app installed are unable to access paid subscriptions or video content, while most SEO-optimised pages on website have gone offline, reported Moneycontrol. The disruption is due to pending payments to Amazon Web Services (AWS), which powers BYJU'S cloud infrastructure, it added.

The Supreme Court has granted a stay on a ₹5,712-crore GST notice sent to Paytm-parent One97 Communications-owned real money gaming platform, First Games. The Directorate General of GST Intelligence had issued a show cause notice to First Games in April for unpaid tax. One97 Communications said that the tax matter is an industry-wide issue and not limited to First Games.

On January 20, a total of 5,88,107 life insurance policies were sold across India by 4,52,839 agents, LIC noted.
